軟 件威盛VAB-820 BSP軟件工具包提供可選Android 6.0 (NXP i. MX 6QuadPlus系統芯片 & NXP i.MX 6Quad系統芯片)，以及包含多個應用程序界面的威盛Smart ETK嵌入式套件，其中包括防止系統崩潰的Watchdog定時器（WDT）、GPIO界面、COM界面、RTC自動電源開關及1個例程應用。
威盛VAB-820 Linux BSP軟件工具包包含了修改與使用說明，用來編寫一個系統鏡像文件，此鏡像檔包含NXP i.MX 6QuadPlus 及NXP i.MX 6QuadPlus系統芯片的kernel (4.1.15)和引導程序原始碼。其他效能包括1個Tool Chain，幫助調整核心，管理板載排針、GPIO界面、I2C界面及其他硬件特性。
同時，威盛還提供整套軟件客制化服務，幫助客戶加快上市時間，降低開發成本。
擴展性增強VAB-820的功能可集成可選的高速無線寬帶擴展卡或模塊。
